High Sierra works with CUDA 8.0.90

As reported by Lowrider at MR, if you use the CUDA 8.0.90 driver with High Sierra it works.

At least well enough to run CUDA-Z.

If someone is using an actual CUDA based application, could they confirm? (Resolve, Adobe, etc )

Confirming.

On 9.0.197 Resolve was throwing an error on launch, and quit out.

Just rolled back to 8.0.90 and no error. Rendered out a bit of footage to test, and all appears fine using CUDA for render.

Mac Pro 10.13 *without* the supplemental update. GTX 1080. 4,1 flashed to 5,1

I installed the 8.0.90 but have a message " Update required ℹ️ "

CUDA Driver Version: 8.0.90
GPU Driver Version: No version found

Yep, that's what's reported. But Cuda Works. Try Cuda-Z, or an application that uses Cuda. Puzzling that Nvidia hasn't updated the driver yet?

Yes I confirm this, Cuda-Z only work with 8.0.90, with 9.0.197 return error!

I come a bit late on HS and I have the same issue. Should I install CUDA 8.0.90 or 9.0.214 right away?
