Looking forward to a fix ASAP...
We have a fix: http://netkas.org/?p=1496
Thats not really a 'fix'. More of a work around. Yeah, it gets the OS to boot, but none of the hardware acceleration features work. I used a backup to go back to 10.15.4 and its back to normal. Also, much easier doing this from a spare disc, you can just delete and drop the file right in, then run the commands the change the permissions.
Another weird issue with a MacVidCards flashed card is that I cannot get the Mac to boot headless. Once I swap the card out for the exact same model without the MacVidCards bios the PC boots without a monitor attached as expected. Once I reinstall the card and try to boot the PC, it hangs at the point I believe it sends its first signals to wake up the monitor and since there is no monitor to send its signal the boot process just hangs, the system doesn't turn off or get angry just sits there and if you press the power button it turns off very quickly unlike if you press the power button while in the OS. This is problem is unexpected and means that I have to plug in a monitor and stuff it under my desk to get it to boot. I use Thunderbolt displays and they are not detected at boot.
These strange but annoying issues have caused me to not use this card for now and go back to my original partially supported card with no boot screen or pre-catalina support.
Is there a 10.15.6 fix for the 5700XT?
Also, is there a performance difference between the "large" and the "regular"?
Wanted to post and see if there was a fix or has been fixed on 10.15.6. I'm still running on 10.15.4 with my 5700 XT. Has anyone with this card updated to 10.15.6 working properly?
The 'Netkas fix' worked again for me... I applied it to my cMP5.1 with an MVC 5700XT after upgrading to 10.15.6.
All is well and working without issue apart from the resume from sleep panic...
Ok so the only way to make the 5700 XT to work on 10.15.6 is to do the "Netkas fix".
I a beginner with command promp. When I tried doing it back on 10.15.5, it would not work for me so I just stayed on 10.15.4. Krammer can you make a YT instruction video?
On 5/29 I ordered an NVIDIA GTX 980 listed as in stock. I was already charged. It has now been 11 days and I have not received any confirmation that my order has been processed or shipped. I emailed firstname.lastname@example.org but received no reply. Order number 2078505112.
My cards were delivered May 22nd and I have sent emails requesting status. Like others have commented it should not be difficult to respond with a quick email letting customers know what the status is. Currently I have three Mac Pros sitting idle while waiting for the cards back. I appreciate what your doing with flashing the cards, but you might want to try responding to customer emails.
Hi Macvidcards team,
I ordered a card from you on the 17th of June and was wondering if you could provide me with an update on shipping? On your website I read that it takes approx 5 days before it is shipped. I have not received any notification yet on its progress.
Hello Macvidcards team.
Tried emailing quite a few times but no reply so resorting to blog.
Please contact me re my GT 630 I bought from you. Not working correctly.
Thanks so much.
Two weeks so far waiting on a Vega card...
Would be great if you could send it.
My order was completed and sent within 4 days of payment. (took another 10 days for the card to make its way through the postal service lol). The card, so far, is working great!
Are you still working on a fix for 5700xt 10.15.5?
Yes, we are still working on a fix. Patch is also now shortened. You just type one command in safe mode, reboot and all is working again.
Ok, what is the command? I have a macvid cards 5700xt and I'm running 10.15.6. Installing the card in my 2010 5.1 is a no go with kernel panics.
curl -qLs https://pics.macvidcards.eu/fix5700.sh > fix5700.sh; sudo sh fix5700.sh; rm fix5700.sh
Please reply to my email just sent, refund the money for the Order No. 748376980 I placed May 14th, return the cards and send me tracking information with payment refund details. Thank you.
Guys, I have not heard back concerning my email, look I am not being difficult, I am trying to run my business, please contact me about the refund and returning the 3 cards I shipped May 14th and refund the cost. I need those cards back ASAP. If I do not hear anything back by August 21st I am going to have to contact the California Attorney General about a fraud complaint. Again I appreciate what you do, but I have to run my business and I have had 3 machines down since May, if you get this fixed I will return the cards to you for flashing. If the cards are bricked because the update I can understand that as well, contact me to work out some temporary cards I can use until this is resolved, I just need may machines back up.
I suggest if possible go to his apartment.

P.S. Parking is always a problem.
Go to his apartment! REALLY! lol
Make sure to use Paypal that way when he doesn't follow through you can get your money back without too much hassle.
I received a gpu that was different then the one I ordered. The card was spoofed to think it was correct model but it was just a lie.
Paypal ended up resolving the case in my favor and I got all my money back.
Now I will only do business with MacVidCards Europe. Too bad extra fees buts its worth it knowing order will be correct.
You can be always sure you will get what you've ordered from us.
I ordered Apple EFI AMD RX580 8GB Sapphire Pulse a week ago and still no confirmation that the card has been shipped.
No reply to my email either.
Can you let me know when this will be shipped? Or please consider a refund so I can buy from your colleagues in Europe.
Where & when did you order it from? I’m in the same boat, placed an order on this website weeks ago, no response no replies to any emails, nothing. No communication whatsoever despite countless attempts to get some info.
