As most of you probably know, we've had a couple.
One on 4th was largest one I'd felt in 25 years or so. Then last night hit and that took the record. We are on the top floor of our building so we get "wagged" like a tail. As I sprinted out onto the rooftop last night I could hear my neighbors running down the stairs in a blind panic. Even more disconcerting was that the aftershocks didn't stop for some time. Just a kind of constant low level shaking that occasionally picked up speed again. And you keep wondering, "is this going to stop or get worse?" I was chatting with m y brother who told me "don't worry, it's just an aftershock." But I knew better, I was in the same room as first one and the stuff banging into each other was louder. The frightened voices nearby too. Some inventory came down off the shelves and we are starting cleanup. Sadly, this will delay shipping of new 580s by a couple days. Please be patient. Everything that fell down has to be tested again. This will only add a day or two to shipments. Please keep an eye on the news as we just had 2 quakes in 2 days. Really hoping they stop now, enough of a roller coaster ride for the year. And yes, we still hope to be doing Vega soon but that too is going to take a delay.

I am glad to hear that you are ok. A slight delay is understandable after a major natural disaster. Thanks for the Vega update. As much as I love the RX580 it is not a good fit for my workload. Ideally Vega or a Radeon VII would be perfect. Best of luck in your research and stay safe.

I second this. Glad you're ok. Earthquakes are not joke. I'm also looking to get a Radeon VII for my 5,1. Hopefully you guys can make it work, but first things first, recoup from the unfortunate natural disaster.
